What kind of education do they have?

– Equine Therapy is not regulated in Canada, unfortunately that means that anyone can use this or related terms.  Therefore it is imperative that you research the education of someone you are considering, as many with minimal education describe their experience in a misleading way.

What kind of issues can they address?

– Different practitioners approach issues from distinctive view points, so it is important to work with someone who is able to identify and rectify the root cause of the issue.

What kind of treatment schedule do they recommend?

– It is important to hire someone with a treatment schedule that works with your time and budget.


Do they provide the services you need?

– Take a look at your concerns and think about what kind help you and your horse need.
